Videoconference with the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of Sudan

On June 17, 2020, with the assistance of the Embassy, a videoconference between the Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus Andrei Khudyk and the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Sudan, Adel Ali Ibrahim was held.

The interlocutors analyzed the progress in the implementation of agreements reached at various levels, including joint Belarusian-Sudanese projects in the field of mining, production of meat and dairy products, opening greenhouse complexes in Sudan, supply of Belarusian granaries to this country, and the creation of engineering enterprises for the assembly of Belarusian equipment in Sudan.

The issues of financing of joint projects, as well as the preparation of the fifth meeting of the Belarusian-Sudanese Joint Commission for Cooperation, were also considered.
