Ambassador of Belarus Sergei Terentiev pays a visit to the Republic of the Sudan

On 28 January 2020 in Khartoum Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Egypt and Sudan Sergei Terentiev presented credentials to the Head of the Sovereign Council of the Republic of еру Sudan Abdel Fattah Burhan.

The Sides discussed the state and prospects of the development of the Belarusian-Sudanese relations in various fields.

During the visit to Sudan S.Terentiev also met with the Minister of Energy and Minerals of this country Adel Ali Ibrahim, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Elsiddieg Abdulaziz Abdalla, the leadership of “GIAD” Industrial Group and Agricultural Bank of Sudan.

The Sides discussed implementation of joint projects in the industrial and agricultural spheres including cooperation in the areas of mining and supplies of Belarusian granaries to Sudan.

The issues of preparation of the next meeting of the Belarusian-Sudanese Joint Commission on Cooperation and political consultations at the level of the Deputy Foreign Ministers of the two countries in 2020 were also considered.
