On participation in the presentation of the trip of a group of children from Egypt to Belarus

On August 23, 2020, Charge d'Affaires a.i. of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt Mr. Denis Milevsky took part in the presentation of the trip of a group of children from Egypt to Belarus with recreational and educational purposes as well as with the aim of developing friendly relations between the Egyptian and Belarusian youth.
The event was attended by the Minister of Education and Technical Education of Egypt Dr. Tarek Shawki, representatives of the Ministries of Defense and Internal Affairs of Egypt, as well as Egyptian children who visited Belarus in 2019 and who are planning to visit the country this year.
The participants of the event noted the high significance and importance of this humanitarian project, including in the context of its role in further deepening the Belarusian-Egyptian cooperation in the field of youth policy.
According to the project, 18 children (accompanied by 2 adults) from families whose members were killed during counter-terrorism operations, will visit Belarus in September 2020.
