Ambassador of Belarus S.Terentiev met with the President of the National Council for Women of Egypt

On June 20, 2022, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt Mr. Sergei Terentiev met with the President of the National Council for Women of Egypt Dr. Maya Morsy.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the ways of strengthening bilateral cooperation in order to foster gender equality and promote women empowerment in Belarus and Egypt. In this regard, the parties confirmed their interest in increasing activities between the National Council for Gender Policy under the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus, the Belarusian Union of Women and the National Council for Women of Egypt.
