Ambassador of Belarus S.Terentiev met with the Director General of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development

On November 22, 2022, as part of a working visit to Khartoum, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Belarus to the League of Arab States Sergei Terentyev met with the Director General of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development under the Arab League Ibrahim al-Dukheiry.

The parties discussed the preparation of the Comprehensive Program («road map») for the development of cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development.

The interest of the parties in intensifying cooperation, primarily in the areas of potato growing and promoting Belarusian agricultural engineering production in the Arab countries, was emphasized.

The results of the 27th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change and the possibilities of cooperation between Belarus and Arab countries in the field of environmental protection were discussed.
