Ambassador of Belarus met with Director General of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development Mr. Ibrahim El Dukheri

On November 16, 2021, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt Mr. Sergei Terentiev met with the Director General of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development Mr. Ibrahim El Dukheri.

The parties discussed the results of the visit of the delegation of the Arab Organization of Agricultural Development headed by Mr. Ibrahim El Dukheri to Belarus on November 8 – 13, 2021.

The head of the Arab organization informed about the agreements reached on cooperation with Belarus in the fields of agriculture, food security and certification, organization of supplies of Belarusian agricultural machinery and equipment to the countries of the Middle East and North Africa. Special attention was paid to the promotion of Belarusian agricultural technologies in the Arab countries.

Specific areas of cooperation in the field of environmental protection, as well as higher and professional education were also considered.

The format for further interaction was agreed, which includes the preparation for signing a high level document on cooperation between Belarus and the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development.
