On the visit of the delegation of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport to Belarus

Within the development of cooperation of the Republic of Belarus with Arab states in the humanitarian sphere, as well as in accordance with the agreements reached during the visit of the President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) under the League of Arab States Mr. Ismail Abdel Farag to our country at the end of June 2021, a first training course for the AASTMT students was arranged at the Belarusian State Medical University on September 19 – 30, 2021.

The AASTMT delegation including the Dean for Students Affairs, the Dean of the Dental College and the Deputy Dean for Educational and Scientific Activities of the Pharmaceutical College also visited Minsk. Following the negotiations, the parties agreed to arrange regular training courses for AASTMT students in two specialties – a dentist in clinical residency and a pharmacist in a magistracy at the Belarusian State Medical University.

The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport invited the representatives of the Belarusian State Medical University to pay a return visit to Alexandria in 2021.
