On holding of the first meeting of the joint working group in the field of agriculture

On July 7, 2020, the first meeting of the Belarusian-Egyptian Joint Working Group on Cooperation in the Field of Agriculture was held in a video conference format.

Representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Egypt, the Institute of Agricultural Engineering, the Egyptian Company for Agricultural and Rural Development took part in the meeting.

The Sides discussed pressing issues of cooperation in the field of mutual increase in trade of agricultural products, agricultural education and scientific research, seed breeding, agricultural mechanization and veterinary certification. The schedule of bilateral visits for the near future was considered.
