On the screening of the film and opening the exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War

On May 7, a joint screening of the film “Come and See” was held at the Cairo Opera House, organized by the Embassies of Belarus and Russia in Egypt.

The event was attended by political, parliamentary and cultural circles of Egypt, representatives of analytical centers, ministries, business, as well as the Belarusian diaspora and Egyptian youth.

As a part of the screening, an exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War was opened.

At the opening of the event, the Ambassador of Belarus to Egypt Sergei Terentiev noted: “Belarus, as a state that has experienced the horrors of war, invariably advocates for the peaceful resolution of conflicts, respect for sovereignty and the right of peoples to live without fear and destruction”.
