Economic cooperation

Belarus and Oman pay special attention to the development of trade and economic relations.

Trade turnover between Belarus and Oman is formed primarily through Belarusian exports. Belarus supplies food products to Oman.


In September 2023, a visit of the delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Oman Province of South Sharqiya was held. There is interaction between the National Center for Marketing and Price Study and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Oman. The Belarusian-Omani business committee is being formed.

In August 2024, a Belarusian-Omani business forum was held on the sidelines of the visit of the Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of the Republic of Belarus to the Sultanate of Oman. In December 2024,  Belarusian delegation — the representatives of the country's food industry took part in the Oman Agro Food exhibition. In March 2025, the Omani delegation presented its booth at the Leasure-2025 exhibition in Minsk for the first time.

On April 1-2, 2026, a Belarusian delegation headed by Foreign Minister visited the Sultanate of Oman. The key event of the visit was the first meeting of the Joint Committee on Cooperation and Investment chaired by Foreign Minister on April 1, 2026. The Omani delegation was chaired by President of the Oman Investment Authority. On the sidelines of the visit Belarusian — Omani business forum was held.

Cooperation in the field of science and technology is developing. In April 2019, Omani businessmen and investors visited international exhibition TIBO-2019 in Minsk. In March 2020, a delegation of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Park of High Technologies visited Oman.

In February 2025, direct flights between Minsk and Salalah were launched by Belavia Airlines.
