Economic cooperation

Leading Belarusian exporters in Egypt are OJSC «Belarusian Steel Works», OJSC «Minsk Tractor Works» (MTZ), OJSC «Minsk Automobile Plant» (MAZ), OJSC «Amkodor», UE «Adani» and Belarusian State Concern for Oil and Chemistry «Belneftekhim».

Algorithms for creating assembly lines for the production of Belarusian tractors, trucks, diesel engines, and buses with gas engines have been developed.

Belarusian enterprises regularly take part in the international exhibitions, which are held in Cairo, such as exhibition of agricultural machinery and equipment «Sahara», food exhibition «Food Africa».

Belarus and Egypt interact actively in the framework of institutional trade and economic bodies.

In November 2023 the 7th meeting of the Belarus-Egypt Joint Trade Commission took place in Minsk. 

The 8th meeting of the Belarusian-Egyptian Joint Trade Commission and the Belarusian-Egyptian Business Forum were held in Minsk on May 6-7, 2026

Active: 

The Belarusian-Egyptian Joint Working Group on Industrial Cooperation, the 3rd meeting was held on July 17-18, 2023 in Cairo. 

The Belarusian-Egyptian Joint Working Group on Agricultural Cooperation, the 3rd meeting was held on October 7, 2025 in an online format. 

The Belarusian-Egyptian Business Cooperation Council, the 2nd meeting was held on November 14-15, 2023 in Cairo.

9 Egyptian enterprises with 100 percent Egyptian capital and 12 joint Belarusian-Egyptian companies are registered in Belarus.

In the framework of interregional cooperation, twinning agreements were signed between Minsk and Cairo, the Minsk region and the South Sinai governorate.
