On holding a reception on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus

On July 7, 2025 the Embassy of Belarus in Egypt organized a reception on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus.
The reception was attended by more than 100 people, including the Minister of Culture of Egypt Ahmed Fouad Hanno, representatives of the diplomatic corps, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Sports and Youth, Tourism and Antiquities, Defense, the Parliament of Egypt, the League of Arab States, the analytical center — the Egyptian Council for Foreign Relations, Egyptian educational institutions, the Governorate of South Sinai, representatives of the media and business, the Belarusian diaspora.
The main topic of the reception was the partnership between Belarus and Egypt and the development of contacts between the leaders of the two countries. The theme of the development of comprehensive Belarusian-Egyptian cooperation was emphasized in the speech of the Ambassador of Belarus, and was also noted in the speech of H.E. A.F. Hanno. During the event, a presentation “Belarus and Egypt: Time-tested Friendship” was demonstrated.
