On the promotion of tractors in the Egyptian and Sudanese markets

On September 14, 2025 Ambassador of Belarus to Egypt Evgueni Sobolevski attended the opening of the 37th International Agricultural Exhibition «Sahara». The largest exhibition in the region has been held annually since 1987 on an area of 17 thousand square meters of the Cairo International Conference Center with the participation of over 200 exhibitors and 67 thousand visitors from 27 countries.

As part of his visit to the exhibition, the Ambassador of Belarus to Egypt held talks with MTZ dealers in Egypt, ElMoasasah ElDawlia and Belmach for Import and Trade, as well as a promising partner of MTZ, Tanta Motors.
In order to promote Belarusian tractor equipment in the Egyptian and Sudanese markets, negotiations continued at the Embassy with the participation of Deputy Marketing Director for Commercial Work in Foreign Markets of MTZ OJSC Lolita Snitko and Honorary Consul of Belarus in Sudan Mohammed Ismail.

The parties discussed problematic issues, ways to solve them, as well as prospects for increasing the supply of Belarusian tractors and spare parts to Egypt and Sudan.
