On the celebrations dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War

On May 9, 2025 the Embassy of Belarus together with the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Alexandria organized festive events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, including concert, joint actions “Belarus Remembers” and “Immortal Regiment”.

The Belarusian diaspora — employees of the construction project of the Nuclear Power Plant “El Dabaa” — also took part in the celebrations.

In his speech, the Ambassador of Belarus emphasized the importance of preserving historical memory, which opens up opportunities for new victories.
