On the meeting of the Ambassador of Belarus at the Egyptian Senate

On April 11, 2021 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt Mr. Sergei Terentiev met with the Head of the Committee on Foreign, Arab and African Affairs of the Senate of the Arab Republic of Egypt Dr. Abdelhai Ebaid, Senate General Secretary Mr. Mahmoud Ismail and Undersecretary of the Senate Mrs. Phoebe Fawzi.

The parties discussed topical issues of inter-parliamentary cooperation, including the prospects for interaction between the upper chambers of the legislative bodies of Belarus and Egypt, as well as between parliamentary working groups.

During the meeting the prospects for bilateral cooperation in the field of education and the development of contacts between women's organizations of the two countries were noted.
