On the meeting of the Ambassador of Belarus S. Terentyev with the Executive Director of the Association of Egyptian Businessmen

On January 28, 2025, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt Sergei Terentyev met with the Executive Director of the Association of Egyptian Businessmen Mohamed Youssef.
The issues of Belarusian-Egyptian trade and economic cooperation were discussed, including interaction with the National Center for Marketing and Price Study.
The Egyptian side confirmed that the Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between the Center and the Association has been agreed upon by the parties and is ready to be signed within the framework of one of the bilateral events (possibly a high-level visit to Belarus or the 8th meeting of the Belarusian-Egyptian Joint Trade Commission). In addition, the readiness to begin joint work in all areas provided for by this Memorandum was confirmed before it is signed.
An agreement was also reached on the preparation by the Association of Egyptian Businessmen and the National Center for Marketing and Price Study of the next industry online meetings between Belarusian and Egyptian businessmen, including in the field of woodworking and furniture production.
