On the meeting of the Ambassador of Belarus E.Sobolevski with the First Deputy Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of Egypt – Head of the Egyptian Commercial Service A. Al-Sherif

On April 7, 2026, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt Evgueni Sobolevski met with the First Deputy Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of Egypt and Head of the Egyptian Commercial Service Abdelaziz Al-Sherif.
The Egyptian side confirmed the participation of the Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of Egypt, Mohamed Farid Saleh, in the 8th meeting of the Belarusian-Egyptian Joint Trade Commission in Minsk from May 4 to 8, 2026.
Protocol matters related to preparations for this meeting were discussed, including the draft protocol, agenda, meeting proposals, and an event for business representatives of both parties.
Particular emphasis was placed on industrial cooperation, including the resumption of assembly operations for Belarusian agricultural machinery in Egypt, and the need to establish direct interbank cooperation.
