Ambassador of Belarus to Egypt S.Terentiev met with the President of the Council for Women's Affairs of Egypt M. Morsi

In order to strengthen cooperation between the public of Belarus and Egypt, on February 21, 2024, a meeting was held between the Ambassador of Belarus to Egypt S. Terentiev and the President of the Women's Council of Egypt, Dr. M. Morsi.

Issues of interaction between the two countries in the field of gender justice, protection of social rights and the involvement of women in economic activities, as well as the participation of women entrepreneurs in international trade are considered.

The Ambassador praised Egypt's policies in the field of gender equality and non-discrimination against women in the fields of education, labor and services.

Agreements were reached on specific forms of interaction between the Belarusian Women's Union and the National Council for Women's Affairs of Egypt.
