On the meeting of the Ambassador of Belarus E.Sobolevski with the Chairman of the National Food Safety Authority of Egypt T. El-Houby

On April 6, 2026, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt Evgueni Sobolevski met with the Chairman of the National Food Safety Authority of Egypt Tarek El-Houby.
The parties discussed the registration of Belarusian dry baby food on the Egyptian market. The high quality of these products has been noted, which is confirmed by their deliveries to 24 countries around the world.
Particular attention was given to the possibility of sending an authorized Egyptian delegation to Belarus to conduct the necessary certification of the production of dry baby food at the Volkovysk OJSC «Bellakt» and to make a positive decision on including Belarus in the list of reference countries for Egypt.
