The Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Egypt S.Terentiev visited the Governorate of Beheira

On October 29, 2024, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt Sergei Terentiev held talks with the Governor of the Governorate of Beheira Jacqueline Azar and the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Beheira Mohamed ALsherif.

The leadership of the Egyptian region positively assessed the possibility of developing political and economic dialogue with the Vitebsk Region of the Republic of Belarus. Cooperation in the field of industrial cooperation, agriculture and tourism was discussed. Attention was paid to increasing the volume of mutual trade cooperation.

An agreement was reached to work out cooperation in the field of water purification, including within the framework of the implementation of joint projects, which will contribute to the sustainable development of Beheira.
