On the meeting of the Ambassador of Belarus E.Sobolevski with the Minister of Industry of Egypt Kh.Hashem

On April 22, 2026, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt Evgueni Sobolevski met with the Minister of Industry of Egypt Khaled Hashem.
Industrial cooperation and the resumption of assembly plants for Belarusian agricultural and automotive equipment in Egypt were discussed, including the reduction of import duties on components for such plants, the marketing of jointly produced products, and the need to establish direct interbank cooperation between our countries.
To enhance trade and economic cooperation, the leadership of the Ministry of Industry of Egypt was invited to participate in the 8th meeting of the Belarusian-Egyptian Joint Trade Commission in Minsk from May 4 to 8, 2026, and to hold the 4th meeting of the Belarusian-Egyptian Working Group on Industrial Cooperation by the end of 2026.
