Ambassador of Belarus S.Terentiev met with the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Egypt

On August 30, 2022, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt Sergei Terentiev met with the new Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Egypt Mohamed Ayman Ashur.

The Ambassador congratulated the Minister on his appointment and wished him success in his new post.

The parties discussed the state of Belarusian-Egyptian cooperation in the fields of higher education and science, interaction between universities within the framework of the implementation of current joint projects.

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research informed about the interest in continuing and expanding cooperation in the field of higher education in such areas as engineering, architecture, medicine, agriculture, telecommunications and radio engineering.

An agreement was reached to prepare a visit of Mohamed Ayman Ashur to Belarus at the helm of the delegation of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Egypt.
