On the meeting of the Ambassador of Belarus E.Sobolevski with the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt

On May 21, 2026 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt Evgueni Sobolevski met with the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt for European Affairs Wael Hamed.

The Sides commended the results of the 8^th meeting of the Belarusian-Egyptian Joint Trade Commission and the Belarusian-Egyptian Business Forum, held on May 6 - 7, 2026, in Minsk. They reaffirmed their commitment to maintain active bilateral contacts.

Plans for joint events in the near future between the ministries of foreign affairs and other authorities, including the parliaments of the two countries, were updated.
