On the meetings of the Ambassador of Belarus E.Sobolevski in the Republic of Sudan
12.10.2026On October 11, 2026, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Republic of Sudan concurrently Evgueni Sobolevski met with the Minister of Energy and Petroleum of the Republic of Sudan and Co-Chairman of the Belarusian-Sudanese Commission on Cooperation Al-Mutasim Ibrahim Ahmed Ali.
During the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to comprehensive development of Belarusian-Sudanese cooperation. An understanding was reached to work on signing of bilateral Roadmap for implementation of the agreements reached during the 5th session of the Belarusian-Sudanese Commission on Cooperation.
On October 12, 2026, the Ambassador of Belarus met with the State Minister of Finance and Economic Planning of the Republic of Sudan, Mohamed Nour Abdelraheem.
The parties outlined a plan for joint events for the near future, involving banks, business communities and specialized institutions of the two countries.
Discussions focused on prospects for developing exports of Belarusian agricultural, automobile and road-construction machinery, as well as food and agricultural products to Sudan, and on organizing reciprocal supplies of Sudanese goods to Belarus.
